The brief historical information
In 1984 the system of domain names (English Domain Name System, DNS) has been developed.
In 1988 report Internet Relay Chat (IRC) owing to what on the Internet dialogue in real time (chat) became possible has been invented.
In 1989 in the Europe, within the precincts of the European advice on nuclear researches (CERN) the concept of the World wide web was born. It was offered by well-known British scientist Tim Berners-whether, it within two years has developed report HTTP, language HTML and identifiers URI.
In 1990th years the Internet has united in itself the majority existed then networks (though the some people as Fidonet, have remained isolated). Association looked attractive owing to absence of a uniform management, and also owing to an openness of technical standards of the Internet that did networks independent of business and the concrete companies. By 1997 on the Internet it was totaled already nearby 10 million computers, it has been registered more than 1 million domain names. The Internet became very popular means for information interchange.
Now the Internet is accessible not only through computer networks, but also through communication satellites, a radio signal, a cable television, phone, the cellular communication, an electricity cable and even through pipes of a waterpipe. The worldnet became an integral part of a life in the developed and developing countries.
